What is #WebcomicDay?

Webcomics have been around since the very early stages of the internet, and from then, have steadily grown in popularity over the years. From readers to creators, webcomics have made a sizable impact on the creative community and it's about time we celebrate that.

Webcomic Day is a day to celebrate webcomics - from the love the creators put into bringing them to us to the supportive community of webcomic readers around the world!

Anyone who makes or loves webcomics can celebrate by using the #webcomicday hashtag to talk about their own webcomic or a comic they love, include sample art or pages, or a short pitch. We hope to grow the artist community and provide a fun way to showcase our work and share readers!

How do I participate?

Visit the hashtag #WebcomicDay on ANY platform (Bluesky, Tumblr, etc) pick some new webcomics to read, and fill out a stamp card with your favorite pages to share! How many webcomics can YOU read?

Give an introduction to your webcomic!

The world of webcomics is busy, and a reintroduction never hurts! Make a post with the #webcomicday hashtag on your social media and talk about a webcomic you read or make, and help by resharing and commenting on the ones you see! Here's a simple template to follow:

Introduce yourself (if you're the creator)
A small description of the comic
The comic's name and rating
A link to find it
Four of your favorite pages

Share your creation process of your comic!
